The Tampa Bay Regional Planning Council hosted a regional conversation on sea level rise and climate resilience, bringing together more than two dozen local elected officials and climate experts for a three-hour interactive discussion. The event, held to assist local governments understand opportunities for increasing regional climate resilience, included presentations on future challenges for local governments and the economic affects of sea level rise, as well as a case study of one community’s response to these challenges.
