At Regional Workshop, South Florida Officials Pre-Plan For Future Hurricanes

Pre-planning for disasters, such as hurricanes, is increasingly more important in Southeast Florida as rising seas worsen storm surge and flooding. In mid-July, Compact county leaders gathered in Fort Lauderdale to discuss how to best prepare for future disasters and improve resilience across the region. This event, RCAP Implementation Workshop: Post-Disaster Redevelopment Planning Workshop, continued the series of Regional Climate Action Plan implementation workshops.
