This week, more than 250 mayors from across the nation will gather in Miami Beach for the 85th annual meeting of the U.S. Conference of Mayors. The mayors will bring to the meeting a national agenda, as well as concerns unique to their individual cities and towns. Mayors are taking the lead nationally on climate change and other issues related to the health of U.S. cities, including healthcare, criminal justice, and affordable housing.
